Community Rehabilitation Programs help adults meet their rehabilitation/recovery goals for living in the community.
Beacon Place in Gwinnett county and New Rock serving Rockdale and Newton counties provides Psychosocial Rehabilitation services to support consumers with mental illness to manage their symptoms and gain the skills necessary to live as independently as possible in their community.
The Five Points Peer Support Program serves Gwinnett residents and the New Rock Peer Support Program serves Rockdale and Newton residents. These programs provide Peer run groups and activities which supports recovery, self-sufficiency, and availability of choice in services and self-advocacy.
Focusing on job skills and supports, the GRN Employment Program provides many consumers with jobs within GRN and in the community.
GRN provides a Community Residential Treatment Program and a Crisis Stabilization Program/Emergency Receiving Facility for those needing psychiatric stabilization, medical supervision, and intensive 24-hour support to prevent psychiatric hospitalization.
The Residential Services Program offers Community Housing services in
staffed group residences, supervised apartments, and semi-independent
apartments for persons with serious and persistent mental illness. Support
to homeless persons and homeless prevention services are integral
components of these services.
GRN also provides transportation for our Medicaid eligible consumers to day programs and other psychiatric/medical appointments in Gwinnett, Rockdale and Newton Counties. |
